How to start the sandfilter? 1 Put 10L (= 2,6 Gallon) water in the filter. This is absolutely necessary. 2 Put approximately 10 kg (= 22 pound) fine sand (ø 3-5mm) until the distributors inside de filter kettle are totaly covered. 3 Put Carefully approximately 15 kg fine sand (Ø 4-8mm) on the coarse sand. 4. Connect the pump inlet with the outlet (skimmers) of the bath. The pump outlet pipe (above) with the connection "pump" on the filtervalve.
Connect the "Return" on the filtervalve with the return to the swimming pool.
Connect the "Waste" with the sewer.
When you do it really nice will, you put a valve at the inlet of the pump and a valve at the outlet of the filter. (= 2x 12 Euros).
When the diameter of the pooltube = 32 or 38 mm is, have YOU also yet two lapse Ø5cm to 3.2 / 3.8 cm necessarily (= 2 x 2.5 Euros).
